Software Developer
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Developer to utilize scripts to automate and integrate applications in Okta SSO. This role is responsible for gathering technical and business requirements for system integration with Okta, and designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions that enhance security, efficiency, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document requirements for system integration involving Okta.
- Analyze existing systems, processes, and workflows to identify opportunities for automation and integration.
- Design and implement automation solutions using scripting, APIs, and Okta Workflows to improve identity and access management processes.
- Integrate various enterprise systems with Okta (e.g., HR systems, SaaS platforms, internal tools).
- Maintain and support Okta configurations, policies, and lifecycle management tools.
- Ensure integration solutions meet security, compliance, and performance standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system integrations and automation workflows.
- Develop technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Stay current with industry trends and Okta platform updates to identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications
Required:
- Design and implement IAM solutions using Okta, Auth0, or similar technologies.
- Architect secure SSO, MFA, and RBAC strategies using SAML, OIDC, and OAuth2.
- Guide clients on identity lifecycle management, provisioning, and governance.
- Automate IAM workflows and integrations using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
Preferred:
- A strong understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts.
- Experience with Okta Workflows, SCIM provisioning, or SAML/OIDC integrations.
- Background in systems engineering, DevOps, or enterprise IT.
- Familiarity with tools such as ServiceNow, Workday, Jira, or similar platforms.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of relevant experience in system integration and/or automation development, with a focus on Okta.
